DAF XG New Gen Vehicles Arrive

Port Express have just taken delivery of two new generation DAF XG vehicles, which have been immediately put into action on Monday 21st February.

The new vehicles are the first two of twenty that we have on order, with the rest expected to join the fleet shortly, and they are amongst the first to hit the road in the UK.

The DAF XG has a larger cab and brings great innovation to the transport industry.

Not only do the large cabs offer more space for the driver, but the XG brings features that improve on vehicle efficiency, lowering fuel consumption, and improving safety, which includes vulnerable road users.

Adding the new DAF’s is just part of our ongoing drive to ensure that Port Express continue to operate a modern, technologically advanced, greener fleet, that maintains the highest levels of safety and fuel efficiency.

Last month, we also took delivery of the final brand new MAN truck from our 2021 order of twenty, and we currently have a further ten on order.

Continuing to invest in our fleet and driver experience will allow the team at Port Express to further enhance our customer service and logistical solutions to support our ongoing growth.
