Port Express Celebrates 20th Anniversary
Port Express has turned 20 years old today, which is a fantastic milestone for the business after being incorporated on the 18th March 2004.
The company now operates a modern fleet of over 100 dedicated vehicles and a national network serving the UK’s ports, including Southampton, Tilbury, London Gateway and Felixstowe, a long way on from the handful of vehicles we started with back in the day.
To celebrate our 20th year in service, our fleet has been receiving a series of new additions that sport gold branded colours and a commemorative 20 year logo.
Managing Director – Karl Dawson – reflects on the past 20 years “I had the honour of setting the company up back in 2004, little did I know then that I was about to embark on such a tremendous journey. I am extremely proud to have witnessed the company flourish and develop into a leading and respected logistics supplier within our industry”.
“Year on year investment in both staff and equipment has enabled Port Express to become both stronger and more competitive and has set the stage for continued growth and development over the years”.
“Whilst we have continued our year on year growth, I would like to think that we have maintained a high degree of integrity in the way we go about our business for both our customers and staff alike. Without our valued customers and staff, we wouldn’t be the company we are today”.
